The flexible metal hose consists of a pressure-tight, corrugated metal hose and an outer stainless steel braid, which is used for pressure stabilisation and absorption of the reaction forces, having connecting fittings for welding at the ends.
Hoses can be welded with fittings for detachable connection at the ends.
It is a hermetic cover with annular parallel corrugations. It is made by the method of hydroforming from tube, which are welded by argon-arc welding along the length of the pipe.

Ø6 - Ø125
Standard 6-400- is made from 0.3 to 0.4 mm thick tube, has an average flexibility and withstands the working pressure of up to 100 kgf / cm2, depending on the internal diameter. Fits most of the customer requirements.
Corrugating of Increased flexibility Ø6-Ø200 – is made by squeezing annular corrugations, which allows to increase the flexibility of the metal hose, in installation of hard-to- reach areas.
Heavy series Ø6-Ø200 - increased thickness of the corrugations allows to use the flexible metal hose with the maximum working pressure (up to 400 kgf / cm2).
Spiral Ø6-Ø200- this type of cover allows to increase the flexibility of the metal hose, as well as allows to transport medium with the maximum speed. This type of corrugating increases the hose life.
Two-layer corrugating Ø6 - Ø125 – is designed for operation in particularly important production sites, for example, transportation of radioactive media. Two-layer corrugating provides increased tightness of the flexible part.
It is a protective cover mesh type made of stainless steel 321 wire which allows to ensure the performance of the hose under the influence of various loads, as well as the pulsation of pressures arising during transportation on the flexible element of the working environment. Braiding should fit tightly to the hose, do not have any ragged parts.
Single-layer braiding - the standard type to ensure stable operation of the hose under heavy loads.
Two-layer braiding - allows to increase the working pressure, usually used in conjunction with a heavy RGM series.
Three-layer braiding – allows to use the maximum working pressure, is applied when preparing special customers’ conditions.
Is a protective element of the hose, placed inside the flexible part to eliminate / reduce contact with the medium fluoroplastic, or due to its presence to extend the service life of the product.
Tube type - a pipe, fixed from one end to the inner collar of the metal hose, used in the transportation of high temperature environment (eg. exhaust gases), to prevent the bellows burning out. It is applied on products of small length as this type of internal screen does not allow a hose to work while it’s bent.
Rolled-non-hermetic stainless steel cover, formed by profiling and rolling in a spiral, used as an internal screen to strengthen the structure, dissipate the temperature of the working environment to prevent damage to the main bellows.
Braided - a steel mesh braiding placed inside the bellows is installed exclusively to dissipate the temperature of the working environment to prevent damage to the main bellows.
PTFE - PTFE tube is used to prevent contact of highly corrosive environment with the bellows material, end fittings, as a rule, it’s used in chemical industry, working with acids, chemical compounds or highly adhesive environment.
A part of the hose in which the flexible part is enclosed to prevent various effects (thermal, mechanical, etc.). It can be chosen due to intended operating conditions of the product.
Thermal cover – is used to protect hose from exposure to high temperatures up to 1500°C.
Thermal hose – is used to protect personnel working in close proximity to the metal hose, from burns or frostbite, while transporting media of low or high temperatures.
Rubber cover - allows to protect the metal hose braid from any mechanical damage.
Spring - provides protection of the flexible part of the metal hose from fractures. As a rule, it protects the place of end fittings from bending, sometimes it is installed along the entire length of the metal hose.
